Will these keycaps fit my keyboard?
Most of our sets are designed for MX-style switches (cross-shaped stems like Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, etc.). If you have a standard mechanical keyboard, they will likely fit. However, if you have a membrane or "low-profile" keyboard, please contact us for a quick check!
What if I have a non-standard layout (65%, 75%, or 98-key)?
At Inpugo, we strive to offer sets with "Extended Kits" (120+ keys). These usually include the shorter Right Shift and extra bottom-row keys needed for compact layouts. Always check the "Base Kit" image in the product description to ensure your specific keys are included.
PBT vs. ABS: Which one should I choose?
PBT: The gold standard for longevity. It has a textured feel, produces a deeper "thock" sound, and—most importantly—it won't go shiny over time.
ABS: Known for vibrant colors and crisp legends. While high-quality ABS feels premium, it will eventually develop a "shine" from finger oils, which some enthusiasts actually love for its vintage look.
Will the letters fade away?
No. We primarily stock Double-shot (two layers of plastic molded together) or Dye-sublimated (ink infused into the plastic) keycaps. Neither method allows the legends to wear off, even after years of heavy typing.
What does "Profile" mean (Cherry, OEM, SA, XDA)?
Cherry/OEM: The industry standards. Ergonomic, medium height, and perfect for beginners.
SA: High-profile, sculpted, and retro. They offer an amazing sound but are quite tall—we recommend using a wrist rest with these!
XDA/DSA: Uniform profiles where every key is the same height. They look incredibly clean and "aesthetic" on Instagram, but take a day or two to get used to for touch-typing.
Do these keycaps allow RGB light to shine through?
We offer both Shine-through (Backlit) and Solid sets. Solid sets (Non-backlit) are generally thicker and offer better sound/material quality, while Shine-through sets are perfect for those who love their RGB lighting. Check the product tags for "Backlit."
What if my keycap arrives warped or damaged?
Quality is our priority at Inpugo. While PBT can sometimes have slight warpage on long keys (like the Spacebar) due to the cooling process, we have strict QC. If a key is unusable, just snap a photo and we’ll send a replacement immediately!
